Saturday, May 9, 2026 is the Annual Piermont Fire 5K - Run-Walk fundraiser for the volunteer fire and ems organizations of Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley.  This peer to peer fundraising event hosts 4 Charity Partners in 2026 - Piermont Fire, Sparkill Fire, Nyack Fire and South Orangetown Ambulance.

These volunteer organizations dedicate the majority of their time to responding to calls, training their members, and managing the organizations - keeping our communities safe.  Fundraising often takes a back seat to other priorities and recruiting new members continues to be challenging.  Membership and volunteerism are the lifeblood of their success.
