The Piermont Fire 5K - raising money and supporting Volunteer Fire and EMS in Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley!  Come join us for a beautiful walk run along the Piermont Pier overlooking the Hudson River!

The Piermont Fire 5K is an event to support, help recruit new members, and raise money for our participating Charity Partners.   The Empire Hose Company #1 (aka Piermont Fire Department) created the event to kick off its 175th-year anniversary celebration.  2026 will be our 175th year serving our community.  Over the years all of our mutual aid partners in the Fire & EMS services have supported our collective safety and with this event, we want to support them.

These volunteer organizations dedicate the majority of their time to responding to calls, training their members, and managing the organizations - keeping our communities safe.  Fundraising often takes a back seat to other priorities and recruiting new members continues to be challenging.  Membership and volunteerism are the lifeblood of their success.

Join us for a beautiful day overlooking the Hudson River as we support our local Volunteer Fire and EMS organizations.  Let's help the organizations that serve our communities.

The annual Piermont Fire 5K -Run-Walk fundraiser is for the volunteer Fire and EMS organizations of Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley. This peer to peer fundraising event hosts 4 Charity Partners in 2025 - Piermont Fire, Sparkill Fire, Nyack Fire and South Orangetown Ambulance.

We are looking for event sponsors to help us defer the cost of producing the event so we can keep entry fees affordable so the focus is on the fundraising.  In return for sponsorship we are offering unique branding opportunities and naming recognition for unique elements of the event.

Sponsorships can be cash (cash or check) or in kind donations (products or services) - depending on the sponsorship item - equal to the value of the sponsorship.

Brand recognition is by logo or chosen language provided to Piermont Fire Department - fully designed and ready for usage.

Our goal is to establish and grow long term relationships and partnerships in this event endeavor.  We consider this event to have unique appeal and see this fundraiser growing significantly in years to come.  In 3 to 5 years, we see this event as one of the regions premiere events honoring and supporting the Volunteer Fire & EMS organizations in Rockland County and the Lower Hudson Valley.
